Using hyaluronic acid, we can reshape the nose without a scalpel. The effect is visible immediately, resulting in a straighter nose and a lifted nasal tip. The bridge of the nose can also be corrected (a hooked nose or a depression in the nose). Hyaluronic acid is carefully injected into selected parts of the nose to create the desired effect. Absorption is slower in these areas, so the result can last for several years. This procedure may, but does not have to, be part of contouring.
Before nose treatment with hyaluronic acid, it is important to follow several guidelines that help reduce the risk of complications and ensure the procedure goes as smoothly as possible. For at least one week before the procedure avoid medicines that reduce blood clotting, such as Aspirin and Ibuprofen.
The day before the procedure do not drink alcohol or smoke, as this can affect healing and skin reactions. It is also advisable to drink plenty of water and arrive well rested, without stress.
Inform the doctor of any health problems, allergies or medication you take—especially if you have blood clotting disorders.
Following these instructions helps make the procedure safe and ensures the best possible result.
After nose treatment with hyaluronic acid, known as non-surgical rhinoplasty, it is important to follow several instructions to minimise the risk of complications and achieve the best aesthetic result. Immediately after the procedure, it is recommended to avoid physical exertion for at least 24 to 48 hours.
Clean the nose area gently and avoid any pressure on or touching of the injection site. If swelling or redness occurs, cold compresses may help, but never place them directly on the nose. For several days after the procedure, avoid wearing glasses—both sunglasses and prescription glasses—as their pressure can distort the filler result. It is also not recommended to visit saunas, tanning beds or wellness facilities, or expose yourself to intense sunlight for at least two weeks.
During the first 48 hours, also avoid alcohol and smoking, as these impair healing and increase the risk of bruising. No further aesthetic facial treatments should be performed for at least two weeks after the procedure.
