During the consultation, the dermatologist will assess the condition of the skin, the type of scars, and recommend the appropriate procedure. The skin should be clean and free of makeup. For sensitive skin, a local anesthetic cream will be applied to minimize discomfort.

Polynucleotides (Rejuran) are applied using thin needles into the deeper layers of the skin in the area of the scars. The procedure takes approximately 20–30 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area, and is minimally painful.

After the procedure, mild redness, swelling, or bruising may occur, but these will subside within a few hours to days. It is recommended to avoid direct sunlight and to use a high SPF cream.

For optimal results, several treatments are recommended at intervals of 4–6 weeks.
