Nucleotides or polynucleotides (PDRNs) are biopolymers, just like hyaluronic acid. They consist of elements of two different nucleic acids, DNA and RNA, which are extracted from the milk of trout, salmon or sturgeon. The DNA structure of the milk of these fish is most similar to the DNA of human leukocytes. The polynucleotides stimulate the regeneration processes, increase the synthesis of elastin, collagen and non-collagen molecules. It supports optimal hydration and protects against UVA and UVB radiation. In our clinic, we use the Nucleofill, which contains neither sugar nor proteins, thus minimizing the risk of allergies.
The skin around the eyes is extremely thin, delicate and prone to premature ageing.
Biostimulation in this area:
When applied to the entire face, neck or décolletage, polynucleotides act in deeper skin layers, where they:
The result is naturally firm, bright and healthy-looking skin with a visibly more youthful appearance.
Polynucleotides are natural substances that stimulate the production of collagen, elastin and other important skin components. Polynucleotides (Rejuran) are known for their regenerative and healing effects. They are particularly effective for treating acne and postoperative scars. Results appear gradually as the skin becomes smoother and more elastic and scars soften. This method is safe and suitable for all skin types.
Benefits
Preparation before the procedure
At the consultation, the dermatologist assesses the skin condition and scar type and recommends a suitable approach.
The skin should be clean and free of make-up. For sensitive skin, we apply a local anaesthetic cream to minimise discomfort.
Procedure
Polynucleotides (Rejuran) are injected with fine needles into deeper skin layers in the scar area. The procedure takes approximately 20–30 minutes, depending on the extent of the treated area, and causes minimal pain.
After treatment
Mild redness, swelling or bruising may appear after the procedure, subsiding within a few hours to days. We recommend avoiding direct sunlight and using high-SPF sunscreen. For optimal results, several treatments at intervals of four to six weeks are recommended.
We apply 1 ml of the Nucleofill to the treated area. The procedure is only slightly painful, the eye area is treated with an anesthetic cream before application. There may be slight diffuse swelling after the treatment, and small bruises and redness may occur after the injections. Usually, you can return to normal life immediately after the procedure. Do not forget to use creams with a high sun protection factor.
We recommend 2 to 4 treatments at intervals of 2 to 4 weeks.
The results are already visible after the first application.
Polynucleotide biostimulation is one of the minimally invasive procedures with a very short, straightforward recovery period.
After treatment, you may experience:
These reactions are temporary and usually disappear within 1–3 days. In some clients, the skin may feel tight or slightly sensitive for several days after the procedure, which is a natural part of regeneration.
